About
My art practice includes working with video, performance, drawing, installation/sculpture, photography and writing. Included as part of my practice and research is the ongoing collaborative project work-seth/tallentire with artist Anne Tallentire. I am currently interested in ideas and questions about:
- aleatoric procedures in art
- politics of improvisation and collaboration
- Deleuze and Guattari
- the work of John Cage
- the photography and film work of Robert Frank
- performance, performativity, and the theory of 'action' (from Hannah Arendt); performance and duration
- formations of identity/subject
- the place and scene of writing in relation to art practice
